Pexel Gallery Sampler

Pexels is a free-to-use website that offers high quality photos and videos that are royalty-free and available for anyone to use. I often recommend this site as it is fast and easy to search for images you’re looking for. The main reason I choose this website over others is because I can use the site without a login; too many times I find a website that is a developer resource only to realize it’s yet another login to use site. Making an account, the company having my personal info, me not remembering the password months later when I need to use the site again… all can be avoided by just searching for a different, better, login-less tool. Pexel is one of them.

A nice, responsive gallery to showcase the royalty free photos can be had with FooGallery. Before, presentation of images in a gallery format was a bunch of hassle in pasting code snippets from various websites and searching forums for solutions when things inevitably broke. While it’s nice to do everything from scratch, sometimes a drag-and-drop solution is a much needed sigh of relief, especially in a rush.
