the internship seeking activities you are doing

I did some networking and was able to secure another internship opportunity! You never know where you will find them; social media, friends, workplaces, or classes. It’s worth asking around. I have an opportunity lined up to do a website for a local church in the Oshkosh area. I’ll be working out the details and sending a Project Scope plan to Tammy within the week!

the internship work you are doing

Right now I have just wrapped on the Competitive Analysis and Audience Analysis to get a better understanding of the business, its needs, and the needs of its audience.

the experiences you are having

Website development is progressing smoothly; with the Analysis work out of the way I have a better understanding of what can be worked into the transition to WordPress that would match the capabilities of the existing website and take advantage of the features provided by the move to WordPress, like various plugins for pop-up messages, animations, and forms.

mini tutorials or examples of work you did

When working on the Analysis papers, I wanted to know if there were methods you could use to determine how a website was built. Specifically, if it was built using WordPress.

There are 5 possible methods in which you can check:

  • Check the Site’s Source Code
  • Visit the License.txt File
  • Visit C WordPress URLs
  • Check Websites With Usage Data
  • Use the Chrome Sniffer Extension
